TOSLab regularly participates in international exhibitions expanding its partnership with leaders of pharmaceutical industry. In 2004 TOSLab took part in two international exhibitions: Biofine 2004 and Pharmaceutical Process Chemistry.

Biofine is regular forum of suppliers of various chemical compounds for pharmaceutical industry including compounds for the biological screening, building blocks, catalysts, solvents, optical active reagents; also various equipments for the synthesis are presented. This exhibition takes place at Messe Berlin (Germany) and is organized by Avokado ltd.
During Biofine 2004 5-6 May all areas of TOSLab activity have been presented including our Compound Collection, Building Blocks, Custom and Parallel synthesis. Firstly the four small libraries elucidated with the help of three independent 3D QSAR algorithms such as BiS (Biological Structure Search), ConGo (Continual Grid Overlap), ConEx (Continual Exterior) were presented. Besides, a new technology for parallel chromatographic purification of organic compound was announced.
Participants of Biofine have shown interest for new semi-natural compound prepared at TOSLab from tryptamines, homotryptamines, carboline, lupinine and cytisine. In addition, fluorinated building blocks were popular among our potential customers. Numerous meetings and personal talks allowed us to inform the representatives of top pharmaceutical companies about TOSLab, its strategy and achievements.

Pharmaceutical Process Chemistry was one of numerous scientific conferences organized by Healthtech Institute. In 2004 this event takes place 20-21 September in Baltimore, Maryland (USA). Taking into account the main task of this conference we focused our exhibition on chemical process development and large scale production of chemical compounds. Our experience in optimization of chemical technologies and possibilities for production of building blocks in multi-kilogram quantity was firstly presented.
Personal communications during the event help us to improve TOSLab program directed at process development. In additional, traditional activity of TOSLab as supplier of various compounds for the screening and reagents for the synthesis was announced.
We consider both conferences to be very useful for further development of TOSLab; their results are analyzed by us to optimize TOSLab announcement program and to improve TOSLab strategy on the European/American markets.
